Founded in 2018 by Andy Danilchick and Mike Nakkula and based at Penn's Graduate School of Education, The Project for Mental Health and Optimal Development explores the role mental health plays in development among children, youth, and the adults who support them.

The Regional Office of Education #17 is an advocate for education by providing positive leadership in DeWitt, Livingston, Logan & McLean Counties.

Instruction happens the way young students learn best: sitting next to a trusted adult, one-on-one every day.

Over the course of one year, Fellows study the NJ education policy landscape, hone their advocacy skills, and achieve a short-term advocacy goal. In addition to engaging in high-quality professional learning and networking opportunities, Fellows will receive a $2,500 stipend for their commitment to this work.
